What Be This Thing Called Natch?

Natch. Some say it stands for natural. Some say it stands for something entirely different. How different? As different as each human's DNA. As different as each human's dreams.

Can you smell it? Can you cook it? Can you alter it? Is it for men? Women? Both?

Can you buy Natch? Can you sell it? Can you wear it? Wrestle with it?

What be this thing called Natch? Take the journey and see if you can find the answers. Natch.

Be Sexy Poz

Behold the new fragrance for men who happen to be living with HIV/AIDS.

Let's face it: men who happen to be HIV-negative can act like highly insensitive jerks with their highly ignorant "clean" and "disease-free" attitudes. Why, it's almost enough to make a poz dude feel less special and worthy. Almost.

Don't inhale the negative thinking of neg dudes. Take a big honking whiff of yourself and realize: sexy is all in your head, not theirs.

Be U. Be sexy poz.

Funky Black Ripe Armpits

I like taking a whiff of my ripe, funky pits. A good strong scent lets me know I'm getting the job done. What job? Why, being a man, of course.

Loving me is a man's job, because I'm a man, who needs a buddy who's ripe for funky pits.

Big Black Intellectual

When not blogging about my "sexy" side, I like to blog about other things, like my four novels, my dog Boomer, President Obama, my past life as a college cheerleader and my new sport, Trikking, among other things.

See for yourself, now and forever on my author blog, Randy Boyd's Blocks.

How I Became Me

The AIDS virus first entered my body when I was age 23. Go back in time and find out How I Became HIV-Positive.

Yep, I was active in college athletics. See how one fateful day in childhood became the key to How I Became a Male Cheerleader.

Am I really gay? Or just pussy-challenged? Here now, my theory as to How I Became Homosexual.

I got communication skillz like President Obama. When I speak, white people ooh and ahh over articulate I am. Seems like what they really want to know is, How I Became Educated.

I love expressing my shit on a digital blog. I love writing, period. And storytelling. And entertaining. And the spotlight. hehe. It's my childhood, I tell ya. Surviving my childhood and my youth is How I Became a Writer.

Living with HIV in a Disease-Free World

I'm a man ... who happens to be HIV-positive, among many other things, all them contributing to my being the fascinating, complex man that I am.

That's how I see myself, despite the fact that I'm living a world that has created the term: disease free. Which makes me what in their eyes: disease-ridden?

I don't let HIV define me, or get in the way of me loving myself. Why should you?

Witness more of my journey in the funky posts labeled, Semper Poz.

Of Homos and Heroes

Do homos dream of heroes? How about being heroes themselves?

There sure are a lot of stories about male heroes for women, but what about a hero for me? What about me being a hero for the man of my dreams?

The world needs great legends of great love between two men. Romeo and Romeo. Adam and Steve. Walt and the Bearcat, my very own super heroes in my very own epic novel (a Lambda Literary Award Finalist for Best Romance!).

In real life, I'm still waiting on my hero, so we can be a great dynamic duo together, our love conquering all. Two men. Two heroes. Now that's a dream worth dreaming.

Muscled Black Buddy, Anyone?

I'm hoping to meet the love of my life, but will he have to possess a certain HIV status? Find out in To Be or Not To Be HIV-Positive.

Because I'm six-foot-four, a lot of guys cast me in their Big Black Top Dreams. But is that me? See what I have to say To White Guys Seeking Black Mandingos.

I'm a great catch, regardless of my HIV status, despite many gay men's "disease-free-only" attitudes. What they fail to realized is, Black Man with HIV Worth a Look.
